My Journey to Warriors of Light in Canada

I have just returned home after having had privilege of travelling to Canada to attend the Warriors of Light program with the Modern Mystery School. It was my first time stepping into this training, and I can honestly say it was one of the most transformative experiences of my life.

As many of you know, my work through London Healing is centred around helping people reclaim their personal power, clear away the energies that hold them back, and step into a deeper connection with their true selves. The Warriors of Light program takes this to an entirely new level!

What is Warriors of Light in Canada?

At its heart, the program is about embodying courage, discipline, and integrity on the spiritual path. It teaches us how to stand strong, not just in the face of life’s challenges, but also in the inner battles we all face with doubt, fear, and limitation. Warriors of Light training is both practical and intensely physical, combining physical training, ritual, and ancient wisdom to awaken strength and clarity.

My First Experience

Walking into the training space for the first time, I felt a mix of trepidation, excitement, and humility. I was surrounded by people from all over the world, each of us drawn by a shared commitment to live with more purpose and to be of service in bringing light to the world.

The sessions were intense, but deeply rewarding. We worked with energy in ways that required focus and discipline, learning to harness our inner strength and to direct it with clarity. There were moments that pushed me beyond my comfort zone, but with each step I could feel layers of resistance falling away.

The physical element of Warriors of Light was something I hadn’t truly engaged with for over 30 years. In my younger days I lived for it: I boxed, trained in the gym six days a week, ran long distances, and played both rugby and cricket. Out of all of those, boxing was by far the most demanding; it pushed me to my absolute limits.

What boxing training taught me, above all else, was how to live fully in the moment. When you’re training non-stop, pushing through rounds of drills, footwork, and bag work there’s no space to think about the past or worry about the future. All you can do is focus on getting through this set, this movement, this breath. That ability to stay present under pressure equipped me well for Warriors of Light.

The training in Canada was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t just about physical stamina or muscle strength, it was about pushing through resistance on every level: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Each movement, each exercise, was designed to awaken something deeper inside.

There were times my body was screaming at me to stop, yet something within urged me to keep going. It wasn’t about competing with others; it was about finding my own edge and moving past it. The moment when you realise that you can go further than you believe changes you.

Boxing may have been the most intense physical training of my youth, but Warriors of Light took me beyond that. It fused the physical with the spiritual, demanding not just strength and endurance, but presence, clarity, and willpower. It reminded me of what it means to truly show up, not just for a workout, but for life itself.

The Takeaway

What I came away with is this: being a Warrior of Light isn’t about perfection, and it isn’t about aggression. It’s about being awake, present, and committed to living in alignment with who you really are. It’s about showing up fully for yourself, for others, and for the world.

I returned to London with a renewed sense of clarity and strength. The practices and lessons from Canada will continue to shape my daily life and the healing work I share at London Healing.

Why It Matters

We are all called, in our own ways, to be Warriors of Light. Whether it’s through the choices we make, the healing we allow ourselves to receive, or the service we offer others, each of us can bring more light into the world.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to deepen your own spiritual journey, I encourage you to start with a Life Activation session or consider Empower Thyself. These are powerful first steps that open the door to the same path of empowerment that led me to Warriors of Light.
